Difference between "Penjing" and "Bonsai" | |
The difference between "Penjing" and "Bonsai" is that any flowers, plants or vegetables cultivated in pots can be considered as "Bonsai". But "Penjing" refers to pots of plants which have been artistically pruned by horticultural techniques. The result is the creation of a work of art, i.e. a "pot plant with landscape" termed as "Penjing" throughout China.
